Monticello did it again - Monday

I went to Monticello yesterday as the forecast was west. Got there around 12:30pm and some gusts were in the 20's mph. Rigged my 5.0 and then my 6.0 as winds were not steady yet. Then the blast came around 1:30pm with steady winds 25-30mph from the west. I sailed my 5.0 until about 4pm when winds started to get flukey. There were about 4 locals sailing too, they told me that had blown too on Sunday afternoon. The water was pretty cold, when I got out I felt I had bricks on my feets cause they were numb from the cold water.

When winds blow from the west, Monticello is a great location because is wide open to the west and winds seem to be steadier.

Glad you caught it Jose. I was stuck at work. Ani was giving reports like 16-37 at around 3:30 here so there're got to be some good reports coming....Donald? Raceboard?

Ahhh the perils of unemployment! At least I get to enjoy some good days of sailing as weather permits.
