Maps are looking better than the forecast (NW). I'll be at Lake Norman. Anyone else game?

RE: Friday

I'll hit the lake...only have a couple of hours (family in town) so don't have time to drive south...may hit it on Mooresville side. Looks like west winds, not NW?

Anyone sail today?

Was out-of-town and curious if any wind here to match the forecast.

Sounds like the place to have been was Cedar Island, NC. Dimitri called to say he was rigging his 4.2.... I sailed a 6.2 on my course board for a couple of hours. It was mostly WSW and very gusty.

Rob and I were mostly powered up on our 8.0s & slalom boards for a couple of hours out in main channel near LNYC....was gusty WSW then W around 15mph. Switched to NW after we came off the water around 2:30.

RE: Friday

Dimitri - glade you scored. Nada down here. It blew WNW around 18 to 20 in the early morning. Then by 11 it shut down with only brief gusts from time to time. Kites were falling out of the sky at times the wind was so light.

PS - keeping an eye on wednesday.
